Vectalia se adjudica la gestión de la estación de autobuses de Teruel

Vectalia, in association with the building company Pavasal, has been awarded the administrative management and operation of the bus station in Teruel and the underground car park which forms part of the property, for the next 15 years.

Vectalia and Pavasal will make and investment of 171,000 Euros in order to offer a renewed image and modern facilities. For which they will be renovating the building, where new entrance and exit access systems will be implemented, lightning, signage and pavement of access ramps will be renovated; a CCTV system and a fire protection system will also be implemented.

The bus station in Teruel, from which more than a dozen of companies are operating with a variety of destinations allover Spain has 12 platforms, a parking lot for 175 vehicles, restaurant, snack bar, business premises and baggage room.

The Joint Venture made up of Vectalia and Pavasal has been considered by the town council of Teruel as the best option, given its extensive experience in this sector. Vectalia is a nationally and internationally renowned passenger transportation company; it also has experience in the car park sector and management of bus stations. On the other hand, Pavasal is one of the most capable and technically companies regarding parking lots.

CFT (Vectalia France) and TMB hand to hand

Corporation Française de Transport (CFT), which belongs to Vectalia France group, has become a partner of Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) in order to obtain the award for passenger public transportation service of Perpignan. Both operators will have eight years to achieve a more attractive urban network capable of carrying up to 16 millions of passengers every year. The implementation of two new optimum service bus lines will contribute to achieve this common goal.
